The 10th & Penn Patriot Store is a school-wide incentive
program designed to encourage students to read
independently, achieve academic success, and
improve classroom behavior.

The Patriot Store is operated by students in
Mrs. Reber's K-2nd Grade Physical Support
Class as part of our math program.

My students gain hands-on math experience as
they count, sort and price items and make
change for customers at the store.

Students in Pre-K to 5th Grade earn
Patriot Dollars to shop in the store by meeting
academic goals, reading 100 books, and by
demonstrating exemplary behavior.

Students use their Patriot Dollars to
purchase children's books, school supplies,
spirit wear, and small toys.

Students can spend their dollars as they earn them,
or save their money to purchase more expensive items
such as 10th & Penn T-shirts and sweatshirts.
